How It Works

Renting a trailer in Sacramento has never been easier.  At Old Sac Rentals, our goal is to provide a smooth, fast, and reliable rental experience whether you’re moving, hauling equipment, or handling a weekend project. Here’s exactly how the process works from start to finish.

1. Choose Your Trailer

Browse our selection of high-quality trailers available in Sacramento. Each product page includes details, photos, pricing, and availability so you can pick the trailer that fits your needs.

Once you’ve found the right trailer, simply reserve it online. Your reservation will show your pickup location, dates, and total cost—including taxes and the refundable security deposit.

2. Confirm Your Reservation

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all your rental details.
For faster checkout, you may:

  • Email a copy of your driver’s license
  • Email your insurance information

Send these documents to [email protected] before pickup or bring them with you to be verified when picking up the trailer.

4. Understand the Rental Agreement

Before your trailer is checked out, you must review and sign the Trailer Rental Agreement, which ensures both you and the owner are protected throughout the rental.

Key points include:

Renter Responsibility & Liability

  • You are responsible for the trailer and any damage while it is in your possession.
  • Only the renter who signed the agreement may tow or move the trailer.
  • You agree to hold Old Sac Rentals harmless from injury, damage, or claims occurring during the rental.

Trailer Safety & Use

  • You must ensure the trailer is properly hitched and securely connected.
